Weekly Roundup : Blackcaps Blowout -New Zealand Thrash Pakistan in ODI Series Domination!

Pak Vs NZ 2025 – ODI Series

In the 3rd ODI match, New Zealand secured a convincing 43-run victory over Pakistan. The Kiwis put up a competitive total of 264 runs and backed it up with disciplined bowling. The skipper, Michael Bracewell was named Man of the Match for his solid half-century that anchored New Zealand’s innings and an incredible display of bowling yielding one crucial wicket of Faheem Ashraf. Pakistan’s batting line-up faltered once again, unable to chase down the target with intent. It was a disappointing display from Pakistan, lacking both strategy and execution in a crucial game.

With this win, the New Zealand cricket team whitewashed the green team by 3-0. This is a matter of grave concern for PCB as the kiwi team were able to fully dominate them in all three matches, even in the absence of their key players like Glenn Phillips, Mitchell Santner, and Kane Williamson. The Pakistan team’s consistency failed to level up their batting or bowling order. Ben Sears was awarded with the player of the series award for incredible bowling display. In the third game, the youngster took a fiver for 34 runs.

IPL 2025

The IPL 2025 standings so far show Delhi Capitals (DC) leading the table with a perfect record of 3 wins from 3 matches and an impressive net run rate of +1.257. RCB, GT, PBKS, KKR, and LSG are all tied on 4 points, with NRR determining their positions. Despite playing one extra game, KKR and LSG are struggling to maintain consistency, while RCB and GT have shown promise early on. Rajasthan Royals (RR) also have 4 points but are placed lower due to a negative NRR. At the bottom, MI, CSK, and SRH are all languishing with just 2 points each from 4 matches, highlighting their early-season struggles. DC has clearly been the standout team so far, looking dominant both with the bat and the ball.
